30 Minute Chili

1 pound Ground chuck or lean ground — beef
1 Onion, large — chopped
1 can Kidney beans (12 oz)
1 can Tomato soup — undiluted
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Chili powder (or to taste)
Hot pepper sauce — to taste
Brown the meat in a little butter and cook until the meat is brown - about 10 minutes.
Add all other ingredients and let simmer for 30 minutes.
Your choice of hot sauce may be added to taste.

Now see 1 can of kidney beans just isn’t enough for me lol I put in like 3 or something. I love kidney beans. I actually make mine almost exactly like that except I’ll use 1 onion and 1 green pepper diced, then saute those and then throw in the meat to cook and then transfer it all over to the crockpot and instead of tomato soup I use tomato sauce and 1 can of diced tomatoes too. Now I need to go make chili this weekend :/

I usually make 2-4 times the amount most recipes call for. There are four of us and we don’t mind leftovers. The chili is very good with diced tomatoes.
See I’m afraid since it is just me and the dogs, if I give any to the dogs I’d be smelling it for DAYS afterwards and frankly I don’t think I could handle it lol
