Cucumbers in sour cream

4 med. cucumbers, thinly sliced
3/4 c. vinegar
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. chopped dill or dill seed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. sugar
dash of pepper

Place cucumbers in medium bowl.
Sprinkle with salt, add vinegar and water to cover cucumbers.
Let stand 30 minutes.
Drain.
In a small bowl combine sour cream, dill, sugar and pepper.
Stir into cucumbers.
Serve immediately or refrigerate.
