2 pounds ground beef
3 cups raw potatoes — cubed
4 large carrots — diced
2 each onions — diced
salt and pepper — to taste
4 each Jiffy pie crust mixes

Mix all ingredients, except pie crust, in a large bowl; set aside.
Empty pie crust mixes in a large bowl.
Add 5 tablespoons of very cold water for each box of mix used.
Toss together to form dough.
Roll out portions of the dough into 8 inch rounds; heap a cupful or more of the meat mixture on each.
Fold the dough over like a turnover and seal the edges.
Place on large cookie pan and bake at 375 F until brown, about 45 minutes.
