valmg’s pudding pie recipe

We love this. It gets eaten almost as quickly as it’s made. It’s simple, quick and yummmmmmy.

You’ll need an Oreo pie crust, 1 package of instant chocolate pudding, 1 package of instant vanilla pudding and milk.

In a bowl, mix the 1 package of chocolate pudding with 2 cups of milk.
Pour the chocolate pudding into the pie crust.
Rinse the bowl out so you can use it again.
Mix the 1 package of vanilla pudding with 2 cups of milk.
Pour the vanilla pudding into the pie crust, on top of the chocolate.
Put in the refrigerator to set for at least an hour.
Enjoy!

For a slightly more decorative look you can pull a knife through the layers of pudding to make a swirl on top before putting it in the frig to set.
Or, you can withhold a tiny bit of the chocolate powder mix and sprinkle it across lightly for a little color.

I’ve decided to share this recipe with Lori for her cooking blog My Wooden Spoon. If you’ve got a recipe you’d like to share head on over there and she’ll even enter you in a monthly drawing as her way of saying thanks.
