What I learned from Four Foods on Friday #1.

Here’s what I learned from each of my fellow bloggers that participated in the Four Foods on Friday inaugural meme.

The only thing Kate won’t eat is the beating heart of an animal.

Beth won’t eat eggs because she thinks they smell like vomit and dirty feed.

Lori loves buttermilk pie, which is something I’ve never heard of.

Karen loves sugar cream pie so much she’d dig it out of the garbage. Another dessert I’m not familiar with.

Lynne is Karen’s sister and thinks eating snails is disgusting.

Melissa thinks peanut butter and cheese sandwiches sound gross. I agree.

The chef at Make Healthy Meals thinks not liking peanut butter may have a genetic factor.

I think Jennifer puts Miracle Whip on everything. I know from reading her blog she uses it on grilled cheese, today I learned she puts it on eggs.

Skeet loves poached eggs on wheat, as well as chess pie. Another dessert I’m not familiar with.

Marcus says he won’t eat lobster because they scream when you cook them. Ugh.

Cecile and I have lots in common. She’s in New Jersey, loves cheesecake and hates seafood.

Sindy loves the biscuits and gravy served at Bob Evans. I’ve never been to one of those.

Thanks to those who participated. I truly enjoyed reading your posts and learning or pondering a little something from each.

Oh wow, peanut butter and cheese? I have a friend who eats peanut butter and pickle sandwiches but never heard of cheese with it. I’d like to have the recipe to the sugar cream pie- that sounds delicious, especially if you’re willing to dig it out of the garbage.

Thanks for the invite, I had fun doing it. I hope you don’t mind me participating on a different blog than where you asked me. I just thought it was more fitting for this blog.

Well, I’ll eat lobster, but somebody else has to cook it because I agree with Marcus, I don’t want to eat anything that screams as it’s being cooked!
