Here are this week’s four questions.

#1. Lasagne noodles. Do you find a difference in taste between the regular and the no bake noodles?
#2. What is your favorite flavor PopTart?
#3. What’s your favorite type of pasta? Not how served, but the type - elbows, ziti, spaghetti, shells, etc. Why?
#4. Green beans. What’s your favorite way to make them or dish to use them for?

I don’t find a difference in the taste between cooked and no-bake lasagne noodles. I like a few of the flavors of poptarts including french toast, appple strudel, cinnamon roll, brown sugar cinnamon and strawberry, but there is no one clear favorite. I’d like to try the new hot chocolate flavor. My favorite pasta above all is spaetzle. I love green beans with a little butter and seasonings.

Here’s what I learned from this weeks participants of Four Foods on Friday #10.

Lynne likes to cook her bacon with green beans. That could be yummy! If I’ve read her blog correctly, she got a new digital camera for Christmas. That’s a good things, considering she mentioned wanting one on 12/19. She should’ve been in my shoes…

Elle has banned PopTarts from her house. I’d like to hear the story behind that. But she seems to be chock full of interesting stories. Don’t believe me? Go read about her Christmas dinner.

Lori seems quite exhuberant about green beans and black eyed peas. She’s got the cutest potatoes in her header, and you should see the size of the Sunday breakfast she makes. I got seriously hungry when I saw that bacon.

Blueyes likes her green beans pretty much the same way I do, but I’m thinking she doesn’t cook lasagne very often. She works in a hospital and she has mixed a banana bread in a mixing cup.

Madelein likes angel hair and linguine and keeps her green beans simple. I was surprised to learn that Poptarts haven’t made it to South Africa yet. She’s also gotten some help with the laundry.

The hit of Skeet’s Christmas dinner was a new recipe for green beans. Skeet’s a pal who got me hooked on hidden object games. She runs a fun contest every week called Tuesday Teaser and a worthwhile meme called Share Some Good Stuff on Thursday. And, she’s got a picture of a double rainbow, something I’ve never seen.

That’s all for this week!

  3. Val:

Had fun with my first four foods — and PopTarts are banned in my house because I have an 8 year old who can eat his weight in PopTarts (and would probably rather do that than eat just about anything besides the big three, hot dogs, cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets.) I’m trying desperately to expand his tastes and imprint him on the idea of eating fruit before the addition of sugar and PopTart crust. So, until he and I can get that down as regular routine, no PopTarts in the house! And only one jar of fruit only strawberry goo.

  4. I understand, having two children myself.
