Participation was low this week so those replied before midnight Friday est are getting two deep links. Anyone else interested is still welcome to participate but will only receive one link. The low participation is my fault, I didn’t do anything to promote this week and I didn’t tag anyone. Next week back on track. I really want to see this meme grow.
I will be going to an awards dinner tonight so am posting this now and will add anyone that participates afterwards.

The questions for this week were:
#1. What are your favorite toppings and condiments to put on a hamburger?
#2. Applesauce. Chunky, flavored, sweetened, unsweetened. How do you like it?
#3. Rice. What is your favorite way to make rice?
#4. Coffee. Is buying beans and grinding them worth the extra expense over ground coffee?

Here’s what I learned from this weeks participants of Four Foods on Friday #4.
These three remembered the meme without me tagging them and I appreciate it.

Blueyes favorite rice is Rice A Roni herb and butter.(Psst, try risotto.) Blueyes apparently also likes the crepes specials at IHOP. I haven’t had those but the chicken fried steak was good.

A cowboy’s wife loves apple butter. So do I! Most people I run into have either never had it or don’t like it. Lori also offers some good suggestions for Thanksgiving meals. I particularly like her idea for a personalized tablecloth.

Kari likes plain instant rice. Is she always so easy to please? She also makes a yummy sounding chocolate cheesecake, from scratch.

Skeet usually makes sticky rice, using a steamer. Now I wonder if that’s the same as what I get out of my electric rice cooker. And since she’s from New Orleans, I bet she could do a good job of explaining dirty rice to me. Skeet is also the host of the fun Tuesday Teaser contest, which you must check out. She’s good. I haven’t guessed correctly yet!

The Sewing Mom also buys coffee as beans from Vermont. I’ll have to ask her who it is. If you go to Lynne’s blog you can also read some of the adventures of her new puppy.

  4. Thanks! This is a fun one, I just need to remember to do it! :-D

  5. What do I have to do to participate weekly!

  6. It’s a weekly food meme. I post four questions and people write the answers on their blog. Then they leave me a comment that with the location of what they wrote. At the end of the week I read everyones articles and pick out highlights and write a summary, including links. The links are included in the hope that people will visit other peoples blogs too. It’s fun.
