Participation was low this week but it was Thanksgiving so I totally understand. Those that replied before midnight Friday est are getting two deep links. Anyone else interested is still welcome to participate but will only receive one link.

The questions for this week were:

#1. Slushees. What’s your favorite flavor or ingredients?
#2. What food do you wish you could cook well but can’t?
#3. What’s the tastiest thing you can make with instant pudding?
#4. What is the funniest food related comment you’ve heard within the past two weeks?

Here’s what I learned from this weeks participants of Four Foods on Friday #5.

Blueyes wishes she could cook fish better. For me, I wish I could cook certain kinds of eggs better. I cannot make an egg without breaking the yolk. Blueyes also gets really grossed out by bugs, as do I.

Kari has never made instant pudding. Kari, I have a really simple recipe for a kick butt pudding pie, let me know if you want it. It only requires instant pudding mix, milk and a pie shell. Kari is also one of those people that goes out in the middle of the night on Black Friday morning for the deals.

The funniest food related comment I heard this week was this. I asked my father why there was so much smoke in the kitchen at his house. He said “Oh, your mother’s cooking.” LOL.

Eggs are super easy, you could try to crack an egg in a cup until you can do it without breaking the yolk maybe?

That’s not where they break, it’s in the cooking I mean. My hubby loves eggs over easy but it’s after they’re in the pan that nine times out of ten I break the yolk.
