The questions for this week were:
#1. Jello. What’s your favorite flavor or recipe?
#2. Red liquid covering for pasta. Do you call it sauce or gravy and why?
#3. Cereal. What’s your favorite kind of cereal (can be hot or cold)?
#4. What is the worst food smell you know of?
Here’s what I learned from this weeks participants of Four Foods on Friday #6.
All contestants that participated call the stuff you put on pasta sauce. I do also. Are any of you Italian? Here in Jersey Italians always call the red sauce gravy. I don’t know why.
Sandy makes a Mandarin Orange cake with vanilla jello pudding that was published in a magazine last year and won her some cash. Sandy’s a new participant in Four Foods on Friday. She recently took a break from blogging to move across country. Hope you’re settling in ok Sandy!
Kari likes cherry jello shots! Yum. I haven’t had one of those in a really long while. She also thought of the exact same thing that I did when contemplating movie revenge scenes.
Blueyes doesn’t like the smell of uncooked fish. She’s right, but I think cooked fish smells too. Blueyes also likes quesadillas so much that she got a quesadilla maker. Of course when I read her post, I thought it said that she meant quesadillas were $19.99 down from $50.
Angelika likes one of the same cereals I do, Honey Bunches of Oats with Strawberries. I have noticed the same thing Angelika. We don’t have family size boxes of that flavor here in New Jersey either. Angelika also found a neat little widget called Feedjit that you put onto your blog and it tells shows viewers where other viewers are located and what post they came in on.
Rhinestic thinks tofu smells bad and likes lemon or lime jello. She lives in Singapore and she’s also setting up a cafepress shop with products showing her artwork.
EDIT - RHINESTIC LET ME KNOW IT’S A DISH CALLED SMELLY TOFU THAT SMELLS BAD, NOT JUST TOFU. SORRY!
Skeet likes grape jello (I’ve never had grape jello but would try it) and doesn’t like the smell of cooked cabbage (I agree). She also had unusual alteration made to her yards landscaping this week.

There’s a form? Sheesh! Wish I’d known that before. Anyway, here I am: http://skeetsstuff.skeeterbess.com/2007/11/30/four-foods-on-friday-4/
Wandering off to find the form so I won’t forget next time.
I only added the reminder request form last week.
It’s on the Four Foods on Friday page.
Thanks!
Hi! Actually, in Asia, there’s a dish called smelly tofu. They ferment the tofu with some “concoction” to give a pungent smell which I totally cannot stand (to me, it smells roughly like a cross between a rubbish dump and a foul-smelling toilet ><)… Fresh tofu on its own doesn’t really have much of a smell.. Quite fragrant in fact.
Rhinestic’s last blog post..Four Foods on Friday
Oops, I misread it. I corrected it. Thanks!
What is a “deep link”?
And while you’re in a generous question answering mood, do you know what a trackback is?
Angelika’s last blog post..I just cried
A deep link is a link to a specific post on your blog rather than just a link to your blog.
A trackback is usually a different url than your posts url and it lets someone know you’re referencing their site.
