All Purpose Marinade
3 cups Dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon Onion powder
1/2 cup Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
Mix all ingredients together.
Marinate the meat (beef, pork, chicken, or game) for 3 to 6 hours, then use the marinade as a basting sauce as the meat cooks on the grill.
Serves six.

Do you use some special brand of species? I am looking at the recipe and understand that I have no idea on what the cayenne pepper is. I would wish to try out this marinade (it is now warm outdoors and hubby’s parents make shashlik almost every weekend, I think this marinade can be of use for this). Would you recommend any other pepper type for this as a substitute to the cayenne pepper?
