Brownie Bites

12 tablespoons flour
6 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
3 egg whites
1 cup sugar (divided)
12 teaspoons margarine

Spray 8 inch square pan with Pam.
In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
In a large bowl with mixer on high, beat egg and egg whites until foamy.
Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat for 1 minute.
Add remaining 1/2 cup sugar.
Beat until slightly thickened.
Beat in margarine (melted).
Gradually stir in flour mixture just until evenly moistened.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until edges pull away from sides of pan.
(Do not over bake).
Cool completely.
Cut into 2 x 2 inch bars.
Makes 32.

    Cutting the brownies into 2×2 inch squares is a good idea if you want to eat the equivalent of a normal-sized brownie but feel like your eating more.
