Hi- couple of questions- is American cheese the same as cheddar or is it more like kraft cheese slices?
2) Can you make this in light version- the lower fat soup and low fat mayo ( or even no-fat mayo) will is still hold up?
Thanks!
note- glad I find you- one of the BIGGEST headaches of my day is figuring our what to make for dinner…
Linda - Thanks for visiting. No American cheese is not the same as cheddar. Most people consider regular Kraft cheese slices American cheese, although I only like the kind from the deli.
I’ve never tried low fat ingredients but I don’t see why the recipe wouldn’t work if you did switch them.
