Here are this week’s four questions.

#1. What’s your favorite kind of crepe?
#2. How do you make ziti?
#3. What is your favorite thing to put on toast, and which flavor if more than one?
#4. When wok cooking, which oil burns the slowest? Peanut, vegetable or safflower?

Crepe love = strawberries and whipped cream. Yummmy. I like my toast with butter or strawberry jam. But I only eat it once in a while because there are so much better breakfast foods. Hubby is the wok cooker and he told me the answer is safflower oil burns the quickest when wok cooking. (Thanks for contributing again this week honey.)

Without further adieu, here’s what I learned from Four Foods on Friday #12.

Elle’s with us again and she’s been gracious enough to provide a family ziti recipe that sounds heavenly. She likes apple butter too, my kind of girl. Elle, care to share the manicotti recipe? I’d be interested in trying it out. Elle’s son is also learning to play the guitar, and has expressed interest in furthering his education. Elle - you’d be surprised how much noise can come out of the cute little amps.

My girl blueyes has shared what may be the simplest instructions for ziti ever. Blueyes dunks her toast in the egg yolks. If you recall, I know very little about that because my yolks always break. She’s been evaluating a number of media players recently. If you’re considering media players, she may have some useful info for you.

Karen is one of two nice ladies that are great blogging neighbors. She’s only tried crepes with strawberries and whipped cream. Karen, those are the best ones! LOL. Karen’s also put up a picture of a style mug I’ve never seen. It definitely needs more room on the bottom. Go take a peek and let me know what you think.

Lynne is the other of the two nice ladies that are great blogging neighbors. She’s shared an easy ziti recipe with everyone, and she likes strawberry jam like me. Lynne’s family has the cutest dog, he’s a puggle. His name is Plinko and he’s just had surgery and she’s got new pics of him up too. I must find out what a puggle is.

Madelein puts brandy in the dough when she makes crepes. Hmmmm. I wonder if I’d like that. She also likes cheddar cheese on her toast. In answer to your question Madelein, ziti is more tube shaped. Check out her blog, she’s put up her first digiscrap, it’s neat. She’s hoping to do one each week.

Corrin likes the same toast as my hubby and the only crepe she’s ever had would surely please my Mom. Corrin is new, welcome Corrin! She’s also put up a Christmas video that took me by surprise and made me laugh and almost made me spit my water out onto my monitor.

EDIT. Kelly’s new to Four Foods on Friday. Welcome Kelly! She got here a tiny bit late but she came prepared. Kelly likes a combination of things in her favorite crepe. She is also the only one that knew the answer to hubby’s wook cooking oil question. Go Kelly! It would seem, if I’ve read correctly that Kelly lives in my neighboring state of NY. <valmg waves wildly> Also, from what I’ve read she probably never has a quiet day at work.

That’s it for the round up for this week. The next set of questions goes up tomorrow. See you soon!
