What I learned from Four Foods On Friday #25

People that participate in each week’s meme receive at least one deep link. Any regular participant of FFOF, that has played 6x or more is eligible to receive a link if they want one, all they need do is let me know they want one. The links are in the sidebar. If you would like to receive a weekly email reminding you to participate in the meme please fill out the form on the meme home page.

If you like this blog please subscribe to the feed. That means you’ll get new recipes to try every day in your reader! I won’t complain if you fave me at Technorati either. Buttons for subscribing and adding to Technorati faves are both on the right side of the page near the top.

Please let me know what you think of the new Archives page.

Here are this week’s four questions.

#1. Cottage cheese. Small curd, large curd, chunk or whipped?
#2. Burgers. Made fresh, preformed fresh or preformed frozen?
#3. If you could only buy one kind of salad dressing what would it be?
#4. Share a crockpot or slow cooker recipe.

I love Axelrod chunky cottage cheese. Umm umm good.
Fresh burgers definitely taste the best. I won’t cook them because I have a fear of the grill, so cooking them is definitely a hubby project.
I don’t like salad but I can do lots of stuff with Italian dressing. Or ranch.
This recipe for Creamy Italian Chicken looks interesting. No I haven’t tried it yet.

This weeks challenge is to stumble this site (Not a recipe, but feel free to do that if you like, I won’t cry about it. LOL.) Please include a brief review, just a few words about what the site is. Thanks to Lisa for already having done this without me asking, you get the entry for this challenge anyway. (Also, if any of you want to add me as a StumbleUpon friend, please feel free. I’m at http://valmg.stumbleupon.com/. Friends can be good.) Just include if you’ve completed the challenge or not when you leave your post for the week. Remember, the prize winner will be drawn from all challenge entries at the end of the month.

Here’s what I learned from Four Foods on Friday #25.

The question I am comparing answers to this week pertains to burgers. The overwhelming most popular answer was that players preferred fresh burgers. Players this week received one deep link, and anyone that shared a recipe got their post stumbled.

Thanks to Skeet, Karen, Val, Corrin, Lisa, Ash and Elizabeth for stumbling!

DeeBee shared a recipe for Pulled Pork and likes fresh burgers.

Bunny doesn’t cook with a crockpot and likes fresh burgers.

Elizabeth shared a recipe for Crockpot Hot Fudge Cake and likes fresh burgers.

Kelly shared a recipe for Bell Peppers Stuffed With Salsa Rice And Beans and has had the best luck with premade veggie burgers. FYI, if anyone’s got a recipe for fresh veggie burgers that work and could share it with her it’d be great.

Angie shared a kalua pig recipe and likes fresh burgers.

Chili Queen shared a recipe for vegetable soup and goes with the frozen burgers in the interests of saving time.

Kari shared a crockpot recipe for ground beef and likes Boca burgers, which are premade and found in the frozen section here in New Jersey.
