What I learned from Four Foods On Friday 39

Happy Friday!

Here were the four questions for this week and they were all related to baking.

#1. When you need to serve desserts, do you buy them or make them?
#2. When baking do you use butter, margarine or something else?
#3. What meats or veggies do you cook in the oven?
#4. Share a recipe for anything that is cooked in an oven.

#1. When serving I usually buy desserts. I only make desserts when it’s just us.
#2. When baking I usually use I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, except for basting turkey.
#3. Meats - roast, chicken, beef. Veggies - none unless you count potatoes.
#4. Mashed Potato And Chicken Bowl is actually best in the oven. Layer everything instead of mixing in the bowl and put in oven. It’s so yummy!

Laura shared a recipe for Hamburger Casserole Ole and bakes with butter or canola oil.

Anna shared where she found a recipe for chocolate cupcakes and usually bakes with butter.

Elle shared a recipe for French Onion Rice and bakes using butter.

Karen shared a recipe for chicken breasts and bakes with butter unless she’s making cookies.

Ami-Chan shared a recipe for rice pudding and usually bakes using butter.

Heather shared the Master Muffin Recipe and bakes using whatever the recipe calls for.

Kelly shared a recipe for Maple Roasted Fennel and bakes with both butter and margarine depending on the dish.
