What I learned from Four Foods On Friday 48

Sorry this is so late. I had to take my folks to the airport up North at 2 am this morning, got home after 6am and crashed until 2pm. I’ve been catching up on all sorts of stuff since I woke up. On the subject of food, in case you’re interested I’ve posted a review of a great knife, The Chopper, as well as a review of Weight Watchers Golden Sponge Cakes.

This weeks questions were:

#1.  Melon. What’s your favorite kind?
#2.  Orange citrus. What’s your favorite - oranges, nectarines, navel oranges, tangerines, etc.
#3.  Oreos. What kind is your favorite? (Don’t eat Oreos? What about olives?)
#4.  Pot pie. Share a recipe. (No pot pie recipe? What about a casserole or some other hot meal you bake?)

#1.  I love seedless watermelon.
#2.  I like most types of seedless oranges.
#3.  DoubleStuff Oreos rock! Give me a spoon and a cup of milk and I’m good to go.
#4.  I only made my first pot pie recently and am about ready to try another, so I don’t have a great recipe yet. I can say Mrs Budd’s chicken pot pies in the refrigerated section are excellent, as are Marie Callender’s Creamy Parmesan Chicken pot pie in the frozen section.

Here’s what I learned from Four Foods On Friday 48. Participation was great this week so I’m microwaving again.
