French’s Foods and TwitterMoms have teamed up to find the best 140 character recipes featuring one or more French’s products. To enter all you need to do is share an original recipe of 140 characters or less on Twitter, including the #frenchs hashtag. Submitted recipes will appear on the www.frenchs140recipes.com website.

Here’s my entry, it’s for valmg’s Deep Fried Cheesy Onion Batter Onion Rings. I’ll be shrinking it down to fit into 140 characters.

To make this you’ll need

  • 4-6 onions
  • French’s Cheddar French Fried Onions
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Wash and slice onions into rings.
Place French’s Cheddar French Fried Onions into plastic bag.
Seal plastic bag and crush the Cheddar French Fried Onions.
Mix egg and milk in bowl.
Dunk raw onion ring in milk and egg mixture.
Dredge raw onion ring in crushed Cheddar French Fried Onions.
Deep fry onion rings at 365 degrees until golden and crispy.
Drain onion rings on paper towel.
Enjoy!
