Some coffee facts.
Fact: The average U.S. adult drinks 3.4 cups of coffee a day, or about 26 gallons of coffee a year.
Fact: Coffee is the most popular drink worldwide with over 400 billion cups consumed each year.
Fact: The average cup of coffee is $4.00 at a local coffee-house. At three times a week, that’s more than $500 annually!
Fact: People who buy coffee primarily at drive through windows on their way to work will spend as much as 45 hours a year waiting in line.
I had to stop drinking caffeine when I had surgery a little over a year ago. I can now have it in small amounts but for the most part I stick with decaf. The thing with decaf is that less people drink it. Noone at work drinks decaf, for example. I like my coffee in the morning but since noone else drinks decaf at work I can’t have any. Nescafe Taster’s Choice new single serve packages came onto the market at just the right time for me.
I received samples of Nescafe Taster’s Choice Single Serve Packets, along with Single Serve Packets of Coffeemate. Nescafe Taster’s Choice comes in Original, Decaf, Columbian, Hazelnut and Vanilla. The packets are extremely convenient. They are the perfect size for your pocket, purse and travel as well as for folks who don’t know how to or like to make coffee using a filter. The packets are also extremely easy to make. Empty packet contents into a cup, add 6 ounces of hot water and stir. RB and I tried all of the samples. My favorite was the Vanilla, RB’s was the Hazelnut. They all tasted like they might have been brewed in a coffee pot rather than have come from instant granules. I was impressed that the granules dissolved and that there weren’t any floating in my coffee. I’d love to see a Vanilla Decaf offered in the future.
Nescafe Taster’s Choice Single-Serve Packets are available in supermarkets nationwide at a suggested retail price of $3.49 for a 20/22 count box. For more information head over to TastersChoice.com. Visitors to the site can request a Nescafe Taster’s Choice free sample and taste for themselves. While you’re there check out the savings calculator, which will tell you how much you’ll save if you use Taster’s Choice Single Serve instead of buying coffee at a coffee shop.
