SMARTSHOPPER SS-101 Grocery List Organizer with Voice Recognition - ONLY $46.99!
I found a great deal on the Smartshopper on Buy.com. The regular price is $199.99 and it’s on sale right now for $46.99 and ships for free. This is the neatest thing, and it takes grocery lists to a whole new level. The Smartshopper is an automated grocery list assistant. It’s a battery operated electronic device with built in voice recognition, all you need to do is press a button and state the items you want on your list. It can be mounted to the wall, stuck to the fridge with a magnet or just left on the counter. It comes with more than 2,500 items in the master library and you can add more. When you state an item to include on your list you can specify quantity and mark it for a coupon. The list prints out on thermal paper.Very cool indeed. Had I known about this dealbefore Christmas I might have gotten one for my Mom.

Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival continues! I have a Mrs Fields Cookbook and a potholder to give to the winner of today’s giveaway. The cookbook is a new hard cover and contains 200 cookie and dessert recipes. I haven’t actually tried these recipes so I don’t know how good they are. They’re Mrs Fields, how bad could they be?! I picked the cookbook up in Barnes and Noble because it only seemed fitting to do so after drooling all over it.

Mabel’s Labels review

Any parent with a child just starting school knows how many things you have to pack or send in to your child’s school. I send in numerous changes of clothes, as well as underwear, to keep in school for my youngest son CJ. I also send in lunch for CJ on a daily basis, due to his special dietary needs. There have been more than a few times I never saw clothing or Tupperware again after sending it in. I’m sure the staff lost track of whose things were whose.
This year it was suggested to me that I consider using labels. At first I didn’t think I had much of a use for labels. But then I got to thinking. The Ultimate Back To School Combo from Mabel’s Labels contains more than 100 personalized labels. That would be enough labels to label every article of clothing I need to send in as well as CJ’s shoes, coats, backpack, lunch bag and some Tupperware. His things would never get misplaced again. And I bet he wouldn’t come home wearing someone else’s shoes either, which did happen this past year.

The combo and the colours are available for a limited time only, until September 30th, 2008.
I haven’t even mentioned the best part yet. Most of these labels, like the Tag-Mates and Skinny-Minis, do not require ironing or sewing to apply. Mabel’s Labels are dishwasher, microwave and laundry safe as well as UV resistant. That makes these the perfect label! It’s like they were created just for me. I hate ironing and I don’t know how to sew.
Once I started thinking outside of my routine, I thought of lots of things I could use these labels for. I could use them in the kitchen on all of my Tupperware storage containers that I have in the cabinets. I could use them on individual meals I’ve pre-made and frozen for CJ. I could use them on all of the plastic containers that hold all of CJ’s toys. And they’d be quite useful on all of the containers of clothes that the boys have outgrown that I’ve got stored up in the attic.
Check out all the different types of labels and uses for them at Mabel’s Labels. Your Mabel’s Labels agent is Nicole Lee. She’s offering some nice values and has a label that will accommodate just about every need you can think of.
