Popcorn cake

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
1 lb. marshmallows
8 c. popped corn
1 lb. sm. gumdrops (no black) or m&m’s.
2 c. mixed nuts
Melt butter, oil and marshmallows.
Mix until very smooth.
Mix corn, nuts and gumdrops together.
Pour melted mixture over corn mixture and quickly stir and pour into tube pan.
Let cool, then slice.
Do not bake.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats

2 c Sugar
2 c Corn syrup
18 oz Peanut butter
8 c Rice Krispies
6 oz Butterscotch morsels
6 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Bring sugar and syrup to a boil.
Add peanut butter and cook, stirring until well blended.
Remove from heat and pour hot mixture over cereal.
Mix quickly and thoroughly.

1 Egg; hard cooked
1 T Mayonaise
1 t Parmesan; grated
1 Celery stalk
2 T Cheese spread
1 Cheese slice
Cut hard cooked egg in half lengthwise.
Remove yolk and mix with mayonaise and parmesan.
Fill egg cavity with yolk mixture.
Cut ends off celery stalk, cut in half crosswise and hill halves with cheese spread.

Half and toast muffins, shred cheese.

Funny Face Carrot Salad

2 carrots
1 small can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
Raisins
Peel carrots.
Roll up a few long shavings and save them for “hair” on a final salad.
Grate carrots with a grater.
Drain can of crushed pineapples in a strainer, using a spoon to push out the juice.

Cat’s Eyes snack for kids

8 Ritz crackers
1 Banana; cut into 8 slices
8 Raisins
Spread peanut butter on crackers and top each with a slice of banana.
Place a raisin in center of each banana to form a cat’s eye and repeat for all banana topped crackers.
